EWC Seminar in Rome for Road and Rail sectors

On 12-13 December 2018, 25 participants from Railways and Road sectors from 6 different countries met in Rome for an advanced training session on European Works Councils.

The Seminar focused on:

• The sometimes tricky link between national and European levels and how to improve cohesion between workers
• Strengths and weakness in a process of renegotiation of an European Works Council agreement
• Practical functioning of internal communication and internal rules between EWC members

The Seminar was an useful occasion for the participants to deepen their knowledge of the topic and exchange experiences and best practices.
