In a meeting of the EU-level Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee for ports, held in Brussels on 12 December 2014, social partners adopted a statement on their vision of social dialogue in the sector. Through such declaration, ETF, IDC, FEPORT and the ESPO’s delegation to the SSDC wish to confirm their commitment to social dialogue and their readiness to contribute, through their dialogue, to the improvement of working conditions and to the enhancement of the competitiveness of EU ports.
At the same time, social partners require the Commission to take note of their commitments and requests and to respect the ongoing social dialogue processes.
