Mobility Package: ETF Statement on the trilogue outcome The European Transport Workers’ Federation acknowledges that an agreement was reached on the Mobility Package between the Council of Ministers and the European Parliament this morning, in trilogue. ETF welcomes Denmark’s decision to introduce stricter cabotage rules for buses & coaches Starting 1 November 2019, Denmark will tighten its rules for foreign buses and coaches. ETF joins its affiliate UNITE the UNION in saying that professional drivers must not pick up the bill for a no-deal Brexit! The ETF is opposing any plan by the UK government to relax or remove the limits of the drivers hours rules set by Regulation 561/2006, as a result of Brexit. News 26 Aug 2019
